About the Department of Conferences and Visitor Services
Conferences & Visitor Services provides administrative and logistical support for hosting educational conferences, summer camps and other similar non-credit programs and events. Conferences & Visitor Services also manages the University Visitor Center in Turner Hall which welcomes more than 40,000 visitors per year.
About the Fund
The Conferences and Visitor Services Student Employee Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance to UMD students who demonstrate exemplary leadership skills and have made a positive impact on Conferences & Visitor Services and the University community. Gifts in support of The Conferences and Visitor Services Student Employee Scholarship Fund will support the current use scholarship. When the fund balance reaches the minimum endowment level, the current-use fund will be converted to an endowment.
How to Apply
The Conferences and Visitor Services Student Employee Scholarship is awarded to a current UMD student in good standing who has demonstrated exemplary leadership skills and has made a positive impact on Conferences & Visitor Services and the University community. Applicants must be employees of Conferences and Visitor Services.
